Man I hate the White bagging. He fills a role and would be paid accordingly. He gives 100% at training and playing. The people here that can't even play Z grade basketball sit back and criticise a player who is still doing it. PLaying in the NBL. Criticism comes as part of the package of being a professional athlete.

I see no one here criticising White's character, there is no personal attacks, but rather attacks on his on court production this past season and future value.

And there is no doubt that his last season was...let's say below par. That would be putting it nicely. He's done a great job forging a NBL career out of his physical tools he was given, and that's impressive. But I don't want him anywhere near a team I support.

White was given last chance this past season to be on a nbl roster, strongly doubt any other team gave him offer. Whatever you think about what he wrote on Twitter is beside the point. Clashing with the coach maybe during the season may have not helped him in playing time, but he was never brought in to be a star backup or contend to be a starter. Games I saw him in I thought he did what he had to do, give starters a breather, play good defence and get ball to scorers. Puzzled therefore by his rating. Griffin was supposed to be a major contributor, but continually got into foul trouble and made some bad decisions, therefore he gets a below par rating. Randle was brought in to be a volume scorer which he mainly did, not great, but would give him a par rating. Drmic was supposed to give a perimeter threat and step up this season, didn't so should be marked down. White was just average and at tail end of career. If he goes then so what, plenty of other guards out there.
Only reason he's become a big topic is statements he made, otherwise would be like any other journeyman player that's finished. Isn't a beloved local player that played for the same team for 10 years. Let's just move on, hardly anything of importance with what society is going through at the moment.

Dillon should have got time ahead of him, I'm not certain what White has to offer for the last few seasons.

Young DPs could have been playing over him like Benny , Bijan, and Alex. That group of Guards were really talented and will be sure to pick up somewhere.
