36ers announce Stan Van Gundy as new coach!

Via the 36ers social media pages that Stan Van Gundy has been confirmed as the new coach of the Adelaide 36ers.
Owner Grant Kelley says "It is with great excitement that we as an organization have been able to obtain the services of Stan Van Gundy as coach. He brings great experience as a previous head coach in the NBA and is excited to work in a great league such as the Nbl. As soon as travel restrictions relax he will relocate to Adelaide, in the meantime we are working with him in identifying potential players, both locally and overseas for the upcoming season. He is known as one of the pre eminent minds of defence in basketball, Stan will instill a defensive style that should keep other teams on their toes. In our interview process he also identified that American players are interested in playing in a country not over run with Covid19 as the United States are, implying that some current NBA players would be interested in playing here.

Pretty big news, wonder what players he is talking about. Maybe some stars have decided that lifestyle is better than living in country where virus is only going to get worse. Imagine if he can bring Blake Griffin?
