News tonight Govt keen to look at any new initiative opportunities to kick start local economies. I'd be submitting my business case for that new stadium or improvements !

Not trying to be a smart arse. With all this rain we've had does anyone know how the various stadiums survived? No leaks? Would have been a good test. Hoping Wayville and the new ones were leak free??

if you put something on the table now it would be a few years before fruition so current iso rules will be long changed.

wayville got a new roof or significant repairs a month or two ago.

Didn't Big Joe get a roof repaired somewhere finally?
Surely there are plenty of more worthy projects than building / renovating stadiums? It's not like the country has plenty of spare cash at the moment (or for the next decades!)
Stadiums are a very expensive and inefficient way of "kickstarting local economies"

New roof at Wayville was a given. Do we know how if it stood the storm test and other stadiums also?

I say fix the Tasmanian stadium (DEC) in Hobart for the time being. No one knows when the actual NBL season will commence?
Seat upgrades are always a must in our stadiums. Melbourne always have uncomfortable sits.
