State League Summer League

Should there be a summer league for state league players, high level quality ball all year round ?

There should be a place for players to play high level all year round in similarity to how the NBL guys are able to play NBL1 in winter to stay in shape.

I don't think local rep comps are decent enough standard

Frankston had planned a domestic competition that was attracting plenty of NBL1 players, but the second lockdown meant that couldn't start.
