If Kyei left Adelaide, bring Andersen in?

KET, for the last time, Kyei isn't leaving the 36ers! that was a random rumor started by some people on Facebook, or bored basketball fans ran with it, just like they did with the Machado to United deal.

Move on, nothing to see here

Can't be Kyei now.

Can only be ns and import or local.

At 6'6" he’s a three man. It’s a signing for the future, did ok in Croatia, 10 and 5 in 28 minutes. It’s not a very strong league though.

For someone so adamant, you don't know where the rumour came from - Liam Santamaria is as credible as it gets. If Santamaria discusses it, it’s worth discussing here for sure

well, it's been dispelled multiple times now, and so has the random Machado to United one. Let's just say I'm in the know on these and leave it at that. My source is as solid as it gets on these two deals.

Goorjian true to his word not taking players from other nbl clubs.

How do you take players from other clubs that are contracted, unless there is mutual agreement on both sides.

Deng Adel, Bairstow, Harvey aren't bench guys I imagine. If Naar is starting, then they're just looking for their second import and they're set starting 5 wise.

Benchies, if you've got Froling, Deng, Grida, Darling then you're mostly set bench wise too, they're all young (and Grida injured), so they just need a couple of vets to round it off.

Darling is very strong and explosive. Do not be deceived by the lack of height. He will be a very good bench player and RotY candidate, if eligible. Probably not returning to Europe for Covid reasons, but under Goorj he could become a beast.

Not eligible for rookie of the year but certainly looks a good Euro/G League recruiting group in Humphries, Pinder, Adel,Darling, Bairstow and Tai Webster joining the league.

Those Captain Darling jokes always seem to bring a smile to my face.

I hope the Hawks are going to score 90 plus points a game because I think defense is going to be a problem for them

Moneke is an import where Darling is classed as a local. Even if Darling is on minimum in his first season it's still more than he’d earn in Croatia.

how good is the Croatian league? Seems like the games are played in front of a few hundred people

Will need to be able to hit outside jumpers to be an effective 4 man in the NBL playing alongside Bairstow. Unless Goorj plans on Darling as the back up 5?

He will feel right at home with the Hawks where even the roof fails at fundamental things like keeping water out.

The aba league has a few good sides playing, but the individual leagues are not that good. They were great years ago but lack of money curtailed it. Serbia the best of the old leagues.

He also went to Croatia when he was 17. I think that says something about his character and he's probably experienced some tough coaching. Under Goorj, he will thrive.

Considering hawks started behind the eight ball, they have done well, one more import and there done. Don't see wooden spoon here.

Doubt you have a next star in the frontcourt beside Bairstow, who doesn't board a tonne.

They'll surely go for an experienced strong rebounding big as 2nd import and let Naar run point to start the season. Henry is a combo, so they have insurance if Naar isn't up to it. But he will be, he's a smart pass-first guy with legit talent around him for the first time in his NBL career. Perfect PG for this team
