any update on Bullets new import/imports

Does anyone have any update on the new import for Bullets.

Also, if Magnay goes to NBA will we go with 2 imports??

I think we call all drop the Magnay to the NBA BS now it's been proven to be complete BS, twice.

He's obviously got a good agent but he's made both Cam Tragardh on live TV the first time and Boti Nagy in print the second time look like complete fools so I don't think anyone in the media will be falling for that BS again.

Both guys had 4-6 or so full contracts thrown at them.

Magnay might need to replicate 1 more year,
Landales gone, will be in nba.

Re Magnay, Kevin Martin was on Overtime not long ago saying that a number of NBA teams had been calling in and keeping tabs on his progress. It's also curious that he's one of very few Bullets not currently playing in the QSL. Speculation is that he's holding himself out to avoid injury and ready himself for an NBA opportunity.

So Magnay is holding himself out to prevent injuries for a season that will be months away. Brilliant thinking, go into training camp without any match fitness or game play where he could have shown new elements to game that would impress teams.

Classic response from Ben. If he doesn't hear anything, then they must be sitting on their hands doing nothing.

Doesn't mean they aren't doing their due diligence and searching for a new import. They are doing just that and there is no rush, the season is still 3 months away today (if starting on Dec 3).

Why rush it? They will get someone.

Brisbane were in 'no rush' and lost one of the league's best scorers. Patience is not a virtue in the NBL if you want to secure a team that will contend for a title and not simply be an afterthought.
