Lakers in 4. Big anti climax for all the nuggets have achieved. Can only see the lakers getting better as the series goes on.

I reckon the Nuggets can take 2 games at least. They were awful in that first half and still within striking distance. The Lakers supporting cast were good but they have a habit of going missing. The Nuggets will get their chance.

Big dagger in the heart there. It will be interesting to see if the Nuggets can regroup from that

Lebron again to scared or not willing to take the game winning shots, just doesnt have that killer instinct. Davies bails him out twice in last 25secs.
If the game is a draw he will take it, when down he melts.
Davis having better series then Lebron.

Or, Davis has hit their last few baskets so LeBron puts the ego aside and goes for the best option for the team?

It might have been a dagger but I think Denver will take a lot out that game. Especially the fact that they can compete. LA should still win but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 6

For Joker to be that amazing down the stretch and they still lose, thats tough. But they still have a chance. I wouldnt count them out yet.

Lebron gets the ball into the right hands for the team to win, it's simple, to many around here think selfish plays wins games, it doesn’t.

I'm with Cram - LBJ doesn't need to prove anything anymore, so he goes with the smartest option.

Will say a lot about the Nuggets if they can come back from that gutting dagger to pinch even one game now. "Played their final" the last two comebacks as it is.

But Lebron didn't get the ball to AD. On the proceeding play he drove, got scared and kicked it to the opposite 45. Let's not let the truth get in the way of Bronsexuals talking up their king.

Nothing gets in the way of the lebron haters no matter how many achievements he's got. Haters always going to hate, it’s a sorry part of life.

Or perhaps it brings some balance to perspectives.

Anyway, let's hope the Nuggets can continue to make the series interesting, whether it be through winning games, or getting close like it did today.

Lebron has the most game winning shots of all time with 17. He also has tied the most game winning shots of playoffs of all time with 4.

What you hate about Lebron is I think his best quality. He makes his team better, he trusts other players, he knows what is going to be the higher percentage option and he is not an ego centric player who takes the shot just because he is the best player.

He just doesn't have that killer instinct. Simple.
He lets others take the shots, not saying its right or wrong just sticks out that he never wants tot ake the big shots.

If the game is drawn no problem, but when down and a lot on the line he doesn't want to know about it.

#639 read number #637.

Just because you say it #639 does not make it true.

Plumlee's D at the end was an absolute joke.
It was that bad, it almost looked like he did it deliberately.
Did anyone else notice it?

Notice it ??? It was deplorable

Perhaps the assumption is they were to switch on everything and so he followed that too strictly. Grant had his back to Plumlee, watching the inbounds while trying to defend LeBron, and wouldn't have known what was happening. Plumlee was probably expecting Davis to hook around LeBron for an easier bucket given they only needed a two to win?

As it was, Jokic got a hand in front of Davis at least.

Nuggets win 114-106. Got up by around 20 before Lakers got it to within a basket or so near the end. Boards went to the Nuggets 44-25. LeBron the only one to get more than four rebounds. Davis with two rebounds in 43 minutes!

Encouraging for the Nuggets that they got good contributions from their supporting cast rather than relying on murray and jokic.

If Nuggets beat the Lakers, does this hurt Lebron legacy?

Not necessarily.
Still has a couple more effective seasons to chase a title.

Fair enough.

I think it cant help.

Titles will only get harder as he gets older.

Nuggets certainly no how to complete, they don't go away easily. Lebron had a triple double today, it was his team that didn’t compete.

He did have a triple double in a loss.

Look Im not doubting Lebron the guy is a freak.

But if they don't win this year, or if they win and Davis wins MVP its going to hurt the legacy.

Unfortunately he is held fairly or unfairly to ridiculous high standard.
MJ was never the 2nd best player on his team, atm Lebron is entering into this disucssion.

If you take LeBron out of this team are they in the West Finals? Do they finish top the west? Davis had some teams with better supporting casts that what the Lakers have minus LeBron.

Sure Davis might have flashier numbers and big shots, but LeBron is absolutely wwhat drives that team

Lakers through, Lebron, triple double, 16 in money time.

Lebron is the goat no matter what the knockers say, plays all facets of the game. Truely remarkable team player.

It's time we appreciate what we’re witnessing with LeBron. Too many haters and boys with no real feel for the game are quick to diss the king. I’ve been balling for 35 years, watched 1000s and 1000s of hours of NBA and LeBron is the greatest I have ever seen.
He doesn’t have the killer mind of MJ or Kobe but as a piece of meat who will do it ALL on the floor, You can’t deny the King is a one in 50 year talent.

Let’s hope he can accomplish what no man has ever done before. Championship and finals MVP in 3 seperate franchises
