Difference between a COE scholarship and NBA Global Academy?

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between earning a Centre of Excellence scholarship and earning an NBA Global Academy scholarship in Australia is?

My impression is one is funded by the NBA mostly, other by BA.

The NBA one includes players projected as having a chance to be in the NBA based on body type or NBA type athleticism. Also the path Aussie kids from outside traditional pathway end up. CoE is more for kids that will be NBL/potential Australian Boomers often with less upside than the kids in NBA Global but still very good.

I could be wrong though.

Very curious about the G-League type idea for the NBL.

At what point have the NBL taken on too much? Good idea in theory but what would the associated costs be?

Young academies that play under nbl, then funneled into offseason nbl1 conferences.

I was thinking the same.

Basketball in Australia is in good hands. Let's keep growing the game.
