50-31 at half time. Brisbane can't hit shit, but still pretty good signs on the defensive end in the first game and a half.
Brisbane clearly severely undermanned, so not a lot to take from it.

Might be an idea if the bench knew when to stop the game clock!

Humphries had 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in 20 minutes. That is impressive. It is also only the 2nd game of pre-season....

Yeah, thank god Froling moved on. He was awful in both games. Showed no sign he has learned anything since his rookie season. Humphries is a clear upgrade, even if he does blow a few layups!
Pinder is still picking up too many cheap fouls, but he was much more the player I was hoping for in today's game.
McVeigh doing a solid job as a small ball 4 in this game. He might need to do that a few times this season as I can see Humphries and Pinder getting in foul trouble quite often.
Humphries will have a few massive games mixed in with mediocre crap, consistency will be the problem.
How do people know that Humphries is the highest paid local.

Maybe the 2nd import should be a 3/4 type. I think Henry said a Torrey Craig type. Someone that could start at 3 and slide to 4 when needed.

Odd thing was the commentary on both games was actually enjoyable. Was thinking the NBL would have sent the regulars in but this was a nice change.

Yeah with Hodgson and Griffin being so foul trouble at their times in Adelaide and DJ not showing defensive muster we have been troubled defensively
