He's from Sydney, didn’t make free agency. Makes sense.

Sydney loss of Bogut is the big issue, kings did better in first half last season before Cooks arrival to replace Moller. Moller was very good again in the practice game against the Hawks on Sunday.
If Bolden was to return to nbl, which I doubt it, he'll have a bidding war between Perth and Sydney you would think.
Cooks does seem to get injured a bit.

Bolden no chance. Not with the money he's after.

Cooks at starting pf would be third highest paid on roster, bolden ain't going to get more in g league and Europe is 1/3 though season in a continent that’s fked with COVID.

Perth must have serious money to throw at Bolden but maybe they hope an import will be available soon.

Bolden NBA one minute, idle the next.

Feel for the King's here. Tough player to replace, definitely not ideal. If they get Bolden on an NBL salary I think they will be fine. But outside of that other choices with no disrespect to the free agents are downgrades for the King's. Cooks a great asset for them.

I don't think Sydney can get an import this time lol.

Injuries are a part of sport, I don't feel for Sydney but do feel for Cooks.

Whos realistically available options? Is it these? Granted they would need to spend some mega money (In NBL terms) for Broekhoff or Bolden.

Bolden, Smith-Milner, Anderson, Pledger, Vodanovich, Broekhoff

Maybe if you could lure Kyei out of retirement?

Kyei, yes maybe. Was training with them.

Kyei wasn't retiring, he was taking a break.

Terrible news, hope he has a speedy recovery.

If the worst case scenario of 4 months were to happen, would he be able to satisfy the minimum number of games required for playoffs?

Would promote Moller or Kickert to starting 4man and bring the replacement player off the bench.

726 that's exactly what they will do. This talk of paying mega money for a short term replacement is a joke. They have slashed their budget significantly. Smith lost too much money last season.

Moller is as good as Cooks, they are very similar players. Newley played a bit 4 in the practice game. They started
Ware
Bruce
Didi
Cook
Hunter, now it could be
Ware
Bruce
Didi
Moller
Martin (import) still solid but lacking Bogut, which while in different positions it's like Perth with out Martin. These sort players irreplaceable.

Will the spastics who keep bringing up Bolden give it a rest? Bolden is not coming to play in Aus. No matter how much you inbreds keep saying it.

How much money do you think he will want? Not injury replacement cash that's for sure.

Wins with the kings last year cooks 8 and 6, Moller 11 and 1. Enjoy the train trip.

This is a blessing in disguise for the Kings. It's Moller Time.

@ Perthworld, time will tell, lots of kings supporters think it's Moller time, it’s a shame it’s due to Xavier injury. It’s a reversal of last season where Xavier took over from Moller.

Looks asthough bolden is one of a few being looked at to replace Randolph at Real Madrid.
Unlikely to see him suite up for the kings.
