Jeff Van Groningen said on today's broadcast that Kendle is a short term replacement and that a significant signing after the nbl cup.
He pumped up the signing as a very big name.
Any ideas? Broekhoff?

Vic has a serious outbreak heading into colder weather. Why lock all teams in Victoria when there is reduced risk in other parts of Australia.
Man if we get Broekhoff I'am done with this team really a 6'6 DJ but even slower if that's possible.
#369, Sixers are playing very well and if they bring in a nba, euro league quality player you are done with the team because as you say slower. Fuck me you might be better watching motor sports.

I'm expecting the new announcement will be an Aussie based in the US whom maybe in the Olympic squad. I would also flick pinder for a bolden but I would presume he would be asking for too much money.

If it is RB, and I really hope it is. You would think that will open up the key for our bigs and fit perfectly for our term structure.
Would be good for Ryan too with the exposure that Giddy will bring and the opportunities Giddys passing game would present. Would have to be one of the tallest guard rotations in the NBL?
Q, I don't know much about Kendall. Would it be an advantage to keep him and drop Pinder? We would have a import spot up or sleeve. Would we have enough cover in the 3 spot?

No one should be unhappy if it is Broekhoff, but I think it leaves Adelaide very thin at point guard and puts a lot of pressure on Giddey. I was hoping for a bit of a do it all 1/2/3 stud. Yeah I know, what planet am I on?
If it is Breoekhoff it would be awesome, we should also be able to keep Kendle and drop say Dillon or Teys, which is also an upgrade

And there's no way anyone is kicking Dech out of that starting unit haha
If broekhoff is the player I probably keep Dech starting and move Crocker to the bench.
William McDowell-White could be another option 36ers might be chasing.
WMW is not a three point shooter, his form so far in g league is hardly scoring and off the bench. He did play for kings when JVG was there though.

Broekhoff doesnt really suit the description Henry gave during the week, unless they were thinking someone else then Broekhoff became gettable

From 3-5 that's as good as anyone in the league, guard wise still a little shallow and reliant on Giddey and Dech, but certainly a good team if Giddey keeps developing as a PG.

Definitely a good team but still concern with balance. Would Broekhoff make Crocker a bit obsolete? Might need more spark at point guard and run smaller rotation.

Actually don't mind Teys playing more minutes at PG if it were RB we got. The length in the team would be incredible. Dech also plays bigger than he is.

In all seriousness what import should the Sixers get. Obviously they aren't focusing on a big and if they want giddey to keep getting major experience then why bother going after a ball handler and since dech is performing well then do you want to replace his production. Imo either they should improve on the crocker spot or go for someone really talented (like a broekhoff type talent level) that way if you do take giddey or dech out of the starting lineup then it’s understandable and shows Adelaide are 100% serious for contending for the title. Understand that’s easier then done however but that’s what I think they should go for either a big swing or just stay put as otherwise if they’re just chasing a backup guard then Sloan might as well have stayed
