IF Adman can continue his meteoric performances while Sykes is out and keeps starring after Sykes' return, SEM would have to reconsider their imports for next, and even future seasons.
Import guards mostly seem to be (quite a bit) better than our local guards and consequently, most teams spend big on getting their guards right. Still think that Sykes superior to Adman but 1 outing (so far) and Adman showed that with more of that sort of progress over the remainder of this season, Adman may be "good enough" as your starter. Then, SEM spend on what-ever weakness they identify with their roster. Even if it's a cheap, back-up import for Adman. A second cheap(er) import back-up for the 3 spot may suffice which would look like this.
Adman / Next Star or Import / Stephens
Broeckoff / Gliddon
Creek / Next Star or Import / Le afa
Wetzell / Te Rangi / Forsyth
Import / Pineau
Damn fine 2nd unit there too with 2 (off-the-bench) imports, Gliddon, Pineau, and Te Rangi or Stephens.
That would be rotation of 11 players (+ Gibbo, if still there).
Sykes is awesome, Adman has truely shone once, the above is "What if" Adman continues THAT sort of form for most, even all of the rest of the season. And remember, that as soon as Sykes is healthy, he gets back his minutes and Adman goes back to bench(?). Hope they find a way to play both for extended mins but unlikely, especially with Broeckoff in the line-up.
