North Carolina mens coach

Thought it was an April fool's day prank when I heard Roy Williams retired. But he's gone and one of biggest jobs in the sport is open with no real replacement. Indiana, one of the other bluebloods filled theirs with Mike Woodson, but they've sucked for years. North Carolina hasn't had a good year or two, but they're there with Kentucky and Duke as probably the top programmes.
Currently Hubert Davis is favourite to get job. Brad Stevens was emphatic in saying he had no interest in the Indiana job, but Celtics aren't going too well and maybe he had some insider knowledge. If the Tar Heels were smart they should be offering him the world to come back to college. Might be one of the few jobs an nba coach would consider. And Mark Few loves Gonzaga, but could this tempt him if he goes undefeated and wins title. Otherwise it could be like when Dean Smith retired and suffered for a few years before they finally got Williams.
There's Rick Pitino who has said Iona is his final stop, but if he gets the call, who knows.
If they don't want it, I wouldn't mind Stackhouse with an 80 year old Larry Brown assisting to keep it in the North Carolina family.

Self just signed a lifetime contract with Kansas. Every year he automatically gets extended another year, interesting way of doing things.

Don't forget Wes Miller

Keeping it in UNC family will be either him or Hubert Davis
Stackhouse won’t get it, hasn’t done much at Vandy

Outside the UNC tree, could see them throwing a lot at Tony Bennett

The Duke job will be up soon too!

A few NBA HC's/Asst in waiting would love that gig considering it will pay around the same money if not better than the NBA gigs

and way better job stability as in college decade-long stays are more common unlike in the pros.

Stability??? Only if you are a success, otherwise its just as bad as NBA. Big programmes with their boosters call for blood after a bad year or 2. If Calipari has a few bad years he'd be gone as well

Yes I know but more there is more of a chance of longevity in college, assuming some success, compared to the NBA.
