Big V round 4

Big V release Rnd 3 ladders and Round 4 fixtures - still no win/loss records or individual stats!
Hang on, Round 4 fixtures are the Round 3 ones.... Can't even get the fixtures right.

Game results still missing from Results. So are ladders correct? Expect not.
When will this be fixed?

For shits and giggles two teams should agree to not play the game but don't tell anyone. See if the league notice.

I notice the local footy leagues are still using sportstg for stats and all is working fine even live scores. I think big v is using a site unique to it's own competitions without any trials or history to go on hence why everything is terrible

Still no aggregate player stats

Still no proper ladders

Still no idea of if/when this mess will be sorted

If I was running a club I'd demand some of the entry fee back. What are you paying for????

It simply is not good enough that BV have stuffed it up so bad.

Clubs should not just say "oh well, priority in NBL1 so we don't mind"

There should definitely be compensation and accountability for this.

If this happened in the commercial environment, there would be penalties/contractual issues/job loss etc.

Simply Anglin just doesn't think Big V is important. Get over it peoples. Y’all know NBL1 will have full stats without issue next week for opening round.

It doesn't matter what Anglin thinks, there are a lot of clubs paying for services not delivered and funding resources that aren't performing.

Someone at BV needs to be accountable and changes made

I think sherbrooke with kaba jumps into the top 3. altona winning at mildura and wallan are the top 3. coffey coming back from injury is not enough to vault them ahead of those, they have no signature wins. wallan does not either but their import averaging 39 a game puts them in the elite category. those 3 will be fighting for supremacy and then i think mildura, rmit and maybe maccabi and whittlesea to round out the playoff hopefuls.

Mildura, Altona and Whittlesea to round out the Finals.

Of course standrad has dropped. It HAS and was always going to with no imports pretty much across the board due to covid. See this season as a positive in providing your youth players more experience ahead of next year when Big V goes back to previous years standards with imports. Personally we are rapt at our association as a coach in the devlopment opportunities this year. With no relegation/promotion you can work towards next year! When fingers crossed ! no more covid pretty pretty please!!! imports etc can come back into country and clubs have more money to spend.

From some of the games I watched there are certainly D1 teams that would struggle to stay with D2 teams mainly the likes of Collingwood, Coburg, melb uni and should be lucky that nobody gets relegated this season.

RMIT and WALLAN can only play what the fixture shows them and both from early form need to be considered as favourites for this league even with Kaba at sherbrooke. Wallan having a 40 point scorer every night will interesting if that can hold up all season and also how that works in a locker room full of scorers but fair play to them for it. RMIT looking at roster strength must be getting the most out of many at the moment, to be 3-0 with I think 19 yr old point guard from nowhere it seems is not bad and guys like Steen and Barlow are surely underrated by most for D2

Bullen SCW for all the cash or convincing Gaze had a 40 piece in front of 10 people, honestly how does a club of that size draw NOBODY to games????

I think the standard is the standard, people complaining are either looking for the NBA in a non-NBA environment I think there are enough local stars and a few imports that the games are exciting enough. Just poking holes for the sake of it.

WHERE ARE OUR STATS? WHERE AREOUR WEEKLY TOP PLAYERS WHERE is the promotion that is whats more disappointing.

Don't sleep on Bulleen in Div1 Men. Going quietly about there business.
Keysborough, Bulleen, Bellarine, Warrnambool or Corio Bay or a chance to take. Shepparton paying the price for relying heavily on imports over the years.

Bulleen is legit and preparing to play SCM next year to eventually go NBL1.

No reason why Shep couldnt have an import this year. Most of D2 have one. They either couldnt find someone who was happy to go through 2 weeks of quarantine to eventually get to shepparton and probably beg to go back to quarantine. Or they didnt want to spend the cash

If Bulleen SCW could attract back all the Bulleen juniors to form other NBL one teams then yes they would be ready for NBL one on the Women's side of the program, not sure about the men just yet. The jump from Div 1 to NBL one is pretty huge

Couldn't be bothered with a new thread

there are still 4 undefeated teams in senior leagues with two in division two men Keys Men I saw the other week play and they look the goods when they aren't playing well like they did against the low Coburg, are these 4 teams surely championship contenders especially Sunbury women again always at the top.

Sunbury Women
Keysborough Men
RMIT Men
Altona Men

On the other side we have 6 teams still without a win, Craigiburn men are better from what I saw, they just can't seem to play 4 quarters of basketball, Melb Uni and Coburg are 0-7 already and play a poor brand of hoops surely without relegation this season questions need to be asked if you have better teams in D2 Currently. and Whittlesea women have a D2 Roster in Champ division enough said.

Corio Women
Collingwood Women
Craigiburn Men
Melbourne Uni Men
Coburg Men
Whittlesea Women

Sunbury women are legit. Probs go through undefeated. Saw them play against Bulleen. Impressive effort to beat them by 30 true team effort no stand out scorers. Only Casey can challenge them.

Not sold on Keysie yet. Worth noting Keysie have played Coburg and Melbourne Uni twice who are on the list of teams that are yet to win.

Altona the better team out of those 2.

RMIT are not quite there Coffey will keep them in it though. Like Keysie they have played bottom teams including Craigieburn who probably lose if they play any domestic team at MSAC.

Coburg lost to Bulleen by 9, and Keysie by 8. Are you suggesting Altona D2 would beat Keysie by 20?

Also, in Coburgs defence, they're on 6-7 games have been against the top 4 on the current latter (Keysie twice, Bullen, Corio, Bellarine).

Corio Women, Collingwood Women, Craigiburn Men, Melbourne Uni Men, Coburg Men and Whittlesea Women.
So what only round 7, no relegation this season and Kudos to the associations for getting teams on the court.

What is the incentive for clubs if no promotion or relegation. Sherbrooke have gone and spent money (from the recent score line against RMIT) not sure why?? As even they did win it would be for nothing just to return to D2 again.
