NH: EPL teams purchasing and relocating A League teams

Would NBA teams start doing this type of thing and fund NBL clubs' security but subsequently move a teams location, identity colours etc for their gain?

There is already the G League and WNBA for NBA owners to spread their wings but could it get bigger whereby perhaps the Bulls also own three European clubs, an Asian club (probs not China) and an NBL club?

I found it hilarious how the article took the stance that the cash-strapped Central Coast Mariners' history is oh so important. They were only founded in 2004 and thoroughout their history have played in front of tiny crowds, give us a break.

It's good for A-League as it is a competition that is going nowhere and bleeding money. NBL aren't in the same type sort of desperation so I don't think it is necessary, but if a club like Illawarra, who the locals don't care about anymore, were to move that wouldn't be a bad thing.

NBL clubs won't happen...NBA have the G-League that will be the expansion at best.

The NBA has enough struggles without worrying about loosing even more money on an Aussie league

the NBL is on life supporting and slowly dying!

Knicks, Lakers, Warriors are all above Manchester Utd in terms of wealth. I think they have enough money to play around with.

Wrong mate the top EPL teams annual revenue is double most of those teams you've mentioned.

The NBA teams have a higher valuation but significantly lower annual revenue's plus they have issues around equalization that EPL teams don't have to contend with when profitable.

In essence the EPL teams have alot more cash to splash on a year to year basis due to the revenues generated as the NBA teams value is in the license not the day to day business.

The nbl would be a good league for the NBA to test some of its concepts in.
