Melbourne v Illawarra Apr 18

The Top 4 is a fluid as a Greens voter's sexuality. A Melbourne win sees them take back top spot, an Illawarra win sees then leap frog the Kings and dust themselves off into the four.

Illawarra have not been a high scoring side this season, but have held their opponents well and as a result have been competitive all season. Melbourne have more belief in themselves than a 15 yo private school girl with a fake ID about to hit the clubs.

It's that belief that should see them through today. Melbourne by 8 shots of latte.

Would like the Hawks get up but can't see it happening.

Seriously how many home games (excluding cup) have utd played?!!?!

Surely they are due for a ridiculous road trip to end the year

Adel getting lots of talk in commentary, saying in the end Goorj had to not play him because they had to win games. Now saying he grabbing an abductor, probably won't see again.
Melbourne just doing as they like, hawks look knackered after trip back from Perth.

The depth of United is amazing.
Lual-Acil, Peatling, McDaniel, Baba and Ili all able to step up and support the main stars.

I don't like them but sure do respect them.

Playing like a championship favorite.
Hawks are just rubbish though.

^ you would think so, but looking at the schedule they don't. They only have 5 away games for the rest of season (notably they also don’t travel to NZ), and they have 8 home games. The scheduling in favour of Melbourne this year is an absolute joke.

United absolutely shooting the lights out but I suspect Goorj will be annoyed at Hawks getting only 10 boards (to United 20) and 2 fouls for the half.

Good to see JLA showcasing his skills

What a non-contest. I can't wait for the main course after such a bland entree.

5 away games... and 1 of those is SEM. 2 to Perth, 1 Sydney and 1 Illawarra. that is laughable.

The Goulding interview was interesting.
" Sleep in the spare room night before games"

Try sleeping in a hotel room like most other teams or living away from family like the Breakers do.
