Extended squads in the NBL?

These days I have to take my shoes off to count past 10, so I haven't been following the minutia of what other teams have been up to. But have they been doing the same as Perth? ie Not counting DPs, essentially now running an 11 man squad.

Seems like we've gone full-circle.
For several years injury replacements were strictly regulated, and essentially could only be called back for a "season ending" injury.
Then we've had a couple of instances where teams were given permission to re-use injury replacements.
But now the Cats are using Bairstow every time somebody needs a rest.

Is this a special concession given their packed schedule?
(Albeit not as useful when Cotton is out.)
What do other teams think?

Melbourne (Stith) and New Zealand (Rusbatch) have both used the loophole in prior seasons.
