Breakers v Hawks May 28

Breakers are back in Pukekohe, which is out of Auckland city, but in Auckland. Hawks are searching for win 18 which might be enough to hold 4, but since coming back home, the Breakers have found their second wind, and have thrown out their spinnaker.

I like the cut of the jib of both teams. Hawks look ship shape and the Breakers need a kea on their shoulder and they could be pirates. At the end of the day, this will be close, but my kiss of death goes to the Breakers, who will make the Hawks walk the plank

Hawks got lot to play for which should guarantee the win, nz will play well but it means not much other than pride. Hawks by 5.

Breakers can shape the last two playoff spots and should be aiming to overtake the 36ers. They'll be fired up to win this.

I like how the Kiwi commentators are continuously making jokes about the poor shooting in this game, if this game was in Australia Cam Luke, Liam and co would be making every excuse under the sun.

Coach has quickly worked out Grida just hype. White getting more minutes.
He also simply a better shot.

He's folding quicker than a collapsible chair. Good old Casey is 100% right.

WMW might not be an nba type player, he has the talent and passing game to play in a top euro club and earn very good money. He's a very good point guard.

Both Webster dragged after turn over mania. They should both go if nz want to be successful next season, they have talent but to much me ball.

Grida no WMW and never had been from juniors. Just another project player from COE
WMW has always been class. Lands some 3s and his game is pretty good.

Breakers obviously must have foreseen that they weren't going to break even playing at Spark (given the lack of interest in the team at the moment) - hence why I’m guessing they’ve taken so many games to smaller venues.

Still, I’m not sure I’m a massive fan of it. Yes playing in a place like ChCh is fine as Christchurch Arena is super nice; but it looks a bit village when you’re taking games to places like this (surely NBL has to pre-approve venues?)

Is this the worst venue in nbl history?

The poo-brown netball-tram-lined court at the North Shore Events Centre says hi.

Grida has played tonight and the last game.

Goorj is still a great coach, Illawarra are not that good in personnel, they play like a well oiled machine.

If WMW has signed with Brisbane, fantastic pick up, get some shooters around him, good pick and roll guys and they will be strong. Say good bye to Cadee.
