Is Bryce Cotton still getting his citizenship?

Just took a listen to Olgun's "Ball and the Real World" podcast ep with Bryce and at the end around 26:40 they talk about the citizenship and the issues earlier in the season. I could be hearing/reading it wrong but it made it sound like it isn't on the table anymore unless that comment was just about missing the olympics.

He is, but it won't be in time for the Olympics as first hoped.

Someone is going to need to score a lot off the bench for the boomers.

Anybody ever discover who Olgun scouted for?

Be great if Bryce could get his citizenship before the Asian Cup and Olympics. Even if it is just for the Asian Cup because he can work on his team chemistry with the team.

The Boomers really do need another scorer. The Government better sign it off because Bryce is in his Twilight years now. No point in wasting his time.

How long did it take Majok Deng to get his citizenship?

A couple of months ago, I had Asia cup team as...

6'0 Cotton cg
6’2 Mccarron cg
6’3 Vasljevic sg -(Dech?, drmic, krebs)
6’4 Sobey cg
6’4 Goulding sg
6’5 Creek cf
6’6 Broekhoff sf
6’8 White cf -(Magnay or mcveigh?)
6’8 Cooks cf
6’11 Landale pf/c
6’11 Johnson pf/c -(Hunter or froling?)
6’11 Humphries pf/c

But now with Vasljevic and white injured, Johnson seemingly finished his international career and cotton no certainty because of citizenship stalling, team will look very different. Aus will have no nba players or euro players most likely which could mean we may be beaten.

Nz will be strong, so too Japan (both watanabe and hachimura want to play, togashi back, Baba + Rossitervetc), China... iran maybe.

When does the Asia Cup start?

I've heard no advertising for it.

Any update on Bryce and his citizenship?
Would be very handy to have him in the Boomers for WC qualifications (late Nov) and Asia Cup games.

hachimura mental health issues means he may play for n.t and not in nba.

Horvasse now men's coach, so I can see a lot of improvement

Not sure with Bryce Cotton's citizenship. Let’s hope it comes before the 2023 Asia Cup.
