Jo Lual-Acuil Incident

Saw him throw the Phoenix player to the ground in the final moments of G1, then tried to fight another.

Is he one of the dirtiest players in the NBL?

Maybe if they called Moore for the obvious holding that started the incident there would have been no incident

Watched the game thinking he had a great attitude, stuck to his game. Didn't see anything dirty. Could see Phoenix players getting frustrated with the margin and getting increasingly rough to the point you could tell something would flare up:

Moore was holding him while not even looking at the fight of the ball. Jo pushes him down, but Moore also clearly flops. Then TeRangi escalates the situation by running in and shoving Jo and two two exchange pleasantries.

That's the entire incident, which could have been mitigated if the refs just called the blatantly obvious foul on Moore in the first place.

I agree the foul should've been on Moore and not the first time this season SEM have resorted to the rough stuff when facing certain defeat. Team full of fake tough guys.

I've never thought of JLA as being a remotely dirty player.

Right now IMO there's a lot of daylight between Shaun Bruce and whoever is in 2nd place for that award.

Bruce is the dirtiest but only because his teammate retired yesterday

Koberulz should consider subletting. He'd be a millionaire in a hurry. No one needs to live in so many different places in a single season.

Obviously different in this day and age, but when was the last time there was a genuine thug like a Kruger in the game who's nearly sole purpose was to go out and rough the other team up, especially the star player? With all the cameras and reviews they wouldn't last 5 minutes, and it's all about protecting the players, but miss the little bit of biff that someone could stir things up.
Instead we have pretend tough guys like a Drmic who does a lot of yapping. I often wonder what guys would do if their teammates didn't hold them back whilst they pretend to go on with it. Be more of a slap fight than anything.

Good luck to Duncan in Brisbane next season, he's got both Drimic and Sobey to contend with.
