Creek takes up player option

Mitch Creek has taken his player option to remain with SEM for the 21/22 season.

Will be interesting to see if Broekhoff signs on.

It will indeed. I respect his loyalty but he seems to have been going backwards in a hurry since landing there.

Great stuff.

Given Landale likely not here next season, Creek the first Aussie I'd select if I was building a team, out of remaining NBL players. Couple years younger than Sobey and I'd take a power player over a guard. Easier to find an impactful import guard to complement him (eg Roberson, Sykes) than vice versa.

That would sacrifice shots from Blanchfield., if you took this season as a vacuum, you'd take Blanchfield over Broekhoff.

Yes I know Blanchfield's success is a product of Trev's system plus Cotton but Blanchfield is already there and showing what he can do.
