Biannual Brock Motum Thread

It must be that time of year again, to speculate about Motum returning to Australia, and what team is going to play for.

Given he's currently playing with Elbows Conklin in France, and is a reserve player for the Boomers, maybe a move back to Aus is slightly more likely?
I don't know if he's returning to Turkey, or how well France pays. Would an Australian Marquee spot be attractive enough?

Perf are the perennial speculation favourites, just because it's Perf, but would they be willing to stretch to a 2nd Marquee??

He has previous trained with the Buleets when home in Australia, but given Lemonass dumped him from the Boomers and/or isn't even there anymore, is that still an option??

Adelaide is in fact the only NBL team he's actually played for, but surely after re-signing HBB they'd be out of the running??

The well trod path of currying favour with the National Coach couch lead him to Steel City, but would they sign both he and Reath??

The injection of a new team adds some spice to the otherwise boring speculation. I've always imagined Lithuania to be very cold, wet, windy, and backwards. So maybe his wife would feel right at home in Tasmania?

Still no mention of how he's best mates with Teys so that could be a factor where he signs.

Conklin has signed in Puerto, Motum was in Turkey and finished in France when his Turkey side missed finals. Motum still very good offensively, still not convinced he's mobile enough at the defensive end. He certainly would be a marquee or he’s not dropping his wages, and yes his wife is Lithuanian.

Can Dazz ever write anything of a short read with substance? No I am guessing.

And it's been 100% correct in Motum's NBL career thus far.

No chance of a return to Australia in the short term to play.

Motum grew up in Brisbane, so you'd think Brisbane would be in the mix if he ever returned to Australia.
