If you could have three overage players then Mills is one of those. Thybulle and Landale.
From memory David Stern was pushing this under-23 model during his tenure as NBA commissioner, and running an NBA endorsed world cup.
Essentially no money for the NBA in Olympics.

Basketball is a huge cash cow for the Olympics so I doubt FIBA and the IOC would let it go. There's been attempts for a long time but it's never got off the ground and probably never will.

U23 is such a stupid idea. Olympics should be best of the best - men's soccer needs to be ditched from Olympics.
Men's soccer is the highest ranked viewing sport at the Olympics, it ain’t going anywhere.
