No but it's a great idea if it’s allowed!

Wouldn't they need to do tryouts first?

Agree, proactive associations would do this.

Didn't happen at all with our Association last season - I actually contacted them about it and was summarily dismissed. I don’t really understand why.

BV and Associations should be looking at developing covered outdoor courts that are just the right side of being indoor as part of long term covid contingency planning.

Right-o. So VJBL associations/clubs have monopolies on outdoor community facilities hey? Just occupy outdoor courts all weekend and see how other ratepayers feel about this.

Schools - sure, get into an agreement with a school about using their outdoor facilities, no worries. They aren't even back with students full time yet.

Outdoor under cover courts? WHERE?

There's no teams at the moment - everyone is waiting for tryouts to commence.

By the time we get back, there won't be enough time to have Phase #1 of Grading and four weeks for clubs to get their tryouts organised. Associations have had no income for the better part of 24 months - would be a good idea to get people in the door at stadiums first and domestic games going to kick-start some much needed revenue raising before Christmas and then start rep basketball in January.
