Cambage misses out on Opals World Cup Squad

A 24-woman Opal's squad is set to be announced today for the 2022 Women's World Cup and Liz Cambage is expected to be left out.

Makes me wonder who made that decisions, the players who wouldn't play with her, Liz herself, or Basketball Australia showing some balls for once?

Cambage herself made this decision through her actions leading up to the last Olympics.

Apparently Cambage turned them down. It would be a real joke to see BA ever reach out to her again. Close that door now. It's the right thing to do.

The Opals' long-standing coach and former player, Sandy Brondello, was asked by ABC Sport whether the team was more united without Cambage.
"Yes, they are way more united," she answered
