Cougars with most by the look of it. First time in probably ever

Joondalup the biggest disaster For their size
One grand finalist and didn't win many games across all champ teams
Tigers won 3, lost 1, cougars won 2 lost 1, Warwick with a few also
Respect to the club for the work. It's the spin on things that probably rubs people the wrong way
TT's team were a point of 17 girls as well, SW were clutch in the dying seconds.
Cougars girls have never been any good over the years. Their Suns influx got them the talent they needed to finally win. Will probably win some WABL titles next year.

Cougars were already winning titles well before this year, just not the girls.
Next year looks like they will go next level across whole club

Rockingham no grand final teams along with Mandurah Kalamunda and Perth. Embarrassing is an understatement for a club proclaiming to be elite. Bevo inheriting a mess. Too much NBL1 $$$
Only club in a worse state is Kalamunda. One could say worse than southwest and that's saying something
Suns 19 girls were down to 5 players in their last game. They will barely be able to field a d-league team next year.

does anyone really care about state champs? the games are less than half a wabl game, so don't think you can get too carried away reading anything into the results. let the kids have fun for a weekend and save the chest beating for something else

Heard a prominent coach/bwa employee abused and swore at a 14yo green shirt ref after one of the games. bwa decided not to do anything because they didnt want to upset the coach. any truth to this?

State Champs do matter now as results formulate grading for 2022 WABL.
If state champs now effect grading bwa need their head read how they balance out the pools

They get a second go at the grading tourneys in Jan or Feb.
Shouldn't have green shirt refs at Division 1 levels anyway
plenty of green shirts ref 11, 12, 13, 14 champ divs

I disagree on that, how on earth are the green shirters supposed to challenge them selves and develop to the level for a level one sign off with out doing some higher level games than the c grade donestic level stuff the other divisions tend to role out.
