Goorj is big ticket now.

I'm not familiar with talent pool below NBL, but wonder if a mixture of the two would suffice. I don’t see the need for the presumably available Olympic big names like Reath, Sobey or Delly.

These matches are obviously important for our WC qualification chances and there's only 5/6 Asian slots available so we should be taking them seriously . Surely BA and NBL should be talking about working together on this one .
For example each NBL team providing a player which equals ten plus two non NBL players who may be eg Nick Kay/ Angus Brandt if they can get a B League exemption or NBL1 players - perhaps Thon Maker who played the last WC qualifying campaign .
That’s a roster of 12 for the 3 matches .
The ten could be ;
Adelaide - McCarron
Brisbane - Sobey
Cairns - Noi
Hawks - Reath
JJ’s - Steindl
Melbourne - Goulding
NZ - McDowell-White
Perth- Norton
SEM - Creek
Sydney - Cooks

If we qualify for the WC we have a shot at the Olympics - if we don’t qualify then we’re in neither .

Bevo a great choice for Coach .
