Goorj is big ticket now.

I'm not familiar with talent pool below NBL, but wonder if a mixture of the two would suffice. I don’t see the need for the presumably available Olympic big names like Reath, Sobey or Delly.

These matches are obviously important for our WC qualification chances and there's only 5/6 Asian slots available so we should be taking them seriously . Surely BA and NBL should be talking about working together on this one .
For example each NBL team providing a player which equals ten plus two non NBL players who may be eg Nick Kay/ Angus Brandt if they can get a B League exemption or NBL1 players - perhaps Thon Maker who played the last WC qualifying campaign .
That’s a roster of 12 for the 3 matches .
The ten could be ;
Adelaide - McCarron
Brisbane - Sobey
Cairns - Noi
Hawks - Reath
JJ’s - Steindl
Melbourne - Goulding
NZ - McDowell-White
Perth- Norton
SEM - Creek
Sydney - Cooks

If we qualify for the WC we have a shot at the Olympics - if we don’t qualify then we’re in neither .

Bevo a great choice for Coach .

@ Kings Fan

Good idea, but shipped has sailed for many players on your list e.g. McCarron

Incredible stuff. A national coach who doesn't want to coach the national team. We know who’s wearing the pants at least...

Do you think Popovich coaches at WC Qualifiers? It's the realities of high-profile / experienced coaches. And that’s perfectly ok.
