Genius level move by ScoMo taking Bryce & Cotton out at the same time to let Kevin White deal with Sydney's press

It's not often I say this because it’s not enough true but ScoMo lost this game with his horrible rotations. God I miss Gleeson.

Great game, rush of blood by Law at the end. Sydney back court looking reasonable impressive, going to be some cracker games in the next few weeks

Perth is actually better than I thought they'd be despite Frazier being worse than I thought he'd be.

Not sold on them making playoffs just yet though

Send Law back to Brisbane and they can get rid of spud Moss.

Seemed a pretty good atmosphere watching the telecast, crowd was hyped and getting in to it.

The main problem is Frazier , he is getting worse as the season progresses.

- Not an impact defender he was hyped to be, who has he shut down ?
- Not a consistent 3 point shooter
- Slow feet, cannot drive and score . no euro step, prone to charging
- Lacks hops which makes him easy to defend and limits easy scoring options

Maybe a nice guy , but nice guys dont win championships. Cats need to make a move fast. Almost any Small forward import in the league at the moment over Frazier would add something to the team over him

Compare him to some of the cats similar players of the past:

Prather : Great euro step to penetrate and score or draw a foul, built up a decent 3 pointer, high energy
Ennis: explosive speed, consistent jump shot and athleticism , high energy
Terrico White: Strong three point shot and mid-range as well as being reliable towards the end of a game

Do we need better centres as well , yes - but we only really have his slot to work with.

Interesting comments re Frazier. I agree he doesn't seem a good fit, potentially under-utilised also. Surely they could split an extra 20 mins of time between Travers/Blachfield, play Law at the 4 and bring in an import big?

Blachfield seems continually injured these days however which may be a factor..

That's been my impression also with bringing in Frazier perhaps as cover for Blanchfield for the first part of the season as he was injured pre season. And maybe they're still holding out for Cottons citizenship or the fact that they've been stuck on the road longer than anticipated has delayed their move. Frazier wouldn't be a bad fit if they had a Kay or Mooney type 4. A player that can defend the paint and rebound because Law is a more offensively minded player. This small ball game plan is okay in small spurts but too many times they're getting caught out on the mismatch and a guard is having to defend a big in key way. Leaking too many easy points. There is still time to make a change it will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger when they return to Perth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Terrico have a season of similar comments from Wildats fans and then has a giant game and helps them win a championship?

Don't worry, the Cats will make the playoffs, Trev always get them th... oh...

Yes, Terrico was invisible for large stretches of the regular season and then was amazing come playoffs.

Main difference between this year's Wildcats and last year's is that given what happened in the final minutes the Wildcats would have won this game last year I feel, and the Kings collapsed.

Vic Law wants to be the man... which is a bad idea when you have Bryce Cotton on the team. Law takes shots too early in the shot clock and ill timed ones.

At times its worked, he gets hot for stretches and he gets us in the game, but Cotton should always take the final shot.
