Taran Armstrong (CBU) & Reyne Smith (Charleston) are two freshmen ripping it up.

A few others emerging too on the men's side.

For the women, it is hard to look past Fowler and Shelley.

Not too much senior/graduate talent really in ncaa D1 women when looking at wnbl contract prospects for next season.

Next season I'd say

Full roster

5’9 Hurst from country VIC (PG) - Bendigo maybe
-Third string pg

5’10 Goodchild from metro QLD (SG) - Townsville maybe
-Starting or backup sg

5’10 Gould from metro VIC (SG) - Melbourne maybe
-5th guard option

6’0 Atwell from metro WA (SF) - Perth maybe
-backup sf although Perth have Sharp/Clarke

6’2 Bibby from country VIC (CF) - Bendigo maybe
-possible starter at pf, maybe backup pf

6’2 Horvat from metro VIC (CF) - Southside maybe
-possible sf or pf starter/backup, Jarry type roll.

Possible Development players

5’10 Bourne from ACT (SG) - Canberra maybe

6’0 Gorman from country VIC (G/F) - Bendigo maybe

6’0 Murphy from metro QLD (G/F) - Townsville maybe

6’1 Moore from metro NSW (PF) - Sydney maybe

6’1 Motuga from metro QLD (PF) - Townsville maybe

Fowler avg 17.5 7.6
Fowler %55
Shelley 42% but 38% 3

Shelley defence 30 blocks 48 steals
Fowler defence 12 block 39 steals.

T/o split

I'd give it slightly to Shelley but both playing great.
Why weren't both in opals squad?

Because none of them are near opals level....

Shelley maybe has a future at sg and will have to prove herself in wnbl but fowler has no abilities that translate to international game.
