Taipans v Melbourne United 27/2

Could be fun.

Hearing that Kuat Noi may be back for Cairns, and JLA is out for MU. No confirmation on either of these. Guess we'll find out soon...

Which big misses more point black layups - Peatling or Tyrell Harrison?

Nice look away McCall to Pinder. Cairns are fun to watch when they are in this sort of mood

I just want an excuse to mention Wagstaff's name when I hear about missed point blank layups even though it's clearly not an answer to your question.

Cairns play with heart, just not enough talent, Forde doing ok with his squad. Can't see United beating kings though.

Earlier this season: Melbourne United have produced the biggest win in NBL history in an 89-47 demolition of the Sydney Kings on Thursday night.

Feel like it's hard to blame Forde for cairns struggles this year.
Didn’t have too much say on the roster construction and the guys he did bring in. Bul and KP have been great. Machado and Zimm are surely gone next year, hopefully they can keep Tahj and get some better complementary imports.

Great solid win by United today.
Great work by a Next Star being our main center today.
Having one player out of a roster - it impacts United more than any other team - as they don't rely on 2 or 3 imports doing most of their scoring and instead rely on everyone contributing.

And Shea Illi is DPOTY.

Very solid win. Contributions across the board. Vickerman must be happy with the buy-in to the game plan despite a somewhat slow start to the year. Jack White adds so much to this team, consistent rim running, defensive help and hits the boards. Could be a nice addition to the Boomers. Probably just needs to develop a consistent three ball.
