Asian Quaifiers Boomers v Japan

The Boomershave had a great win over Japan by 16 points.

Leading all game.

Not sure Japan had there best team available but Boomers should be proud and take the win.

Great effort by Coach Rob Beveridge,Staff and team.

It shows what Bevo can do with teams and get them playing when you consider the short preparation time they had for these 3 games.

Nick Kay lead by example and well supported by Brandt,Moller and others.

One more game to go against Chinese Taipei.Good luck to all

I was pretty impressed by Naar and Mudronja.

Would be interesting to see how Togashi fared in the NBL I think. Even incredibly undersized he's such a good scorer, I think the idea of him as a bench sparkplug not counting as an import is interesting, although he's probably on a good deal of coin in Japan, more than he'd likely be offered here.

Did Yudai Baba line up for Japan? Thought he was a great addition to the NBL last season, intense, athletic and had a nice jumper.
