CDBC NBL1 Season over before it starts

This club has done a poor job in selecting non imported players for this team
No real talent on the team just inexperienced kids who just dont play a team game and attack the basket and get blocked so predictable and wont worry the score bench
They dont play team defence and cant run plays
No shooters on this team
This club will only be making up numbers this year will be lucky to win two games
Disapoint ing to say the least

In memory of Jack's Rep Career

There once was a guy called Jack,
Who believed he could be a baller down the track,
Little did he know his logic was whack,
Let me tell you all about a story about this kid named Jack

He started with passion, always working and tryin'
To one day reach his dream of being an NBL1 Lion
Reality would hit hard and serve him a bum steer
This would be the end of poor Jack's short lived Rep Career

He'll be the bloke at the bar with all of the what might have been stories
How he could beat them all back in the day and often score into the forties
Sadly for Jack it just wasn't meant to be
That he was ever a realistic chance of playing for the CDBC!

Where is this club playing out of is a big club and does it have legit players? I know of certain NBL 1 clubs but never herd of this association.

Jack are you talking men or women? I know they had a disappointing week 1 but plenty can happen in 2 weeks and both sides have great coaches who will help move the program forward this year. I would expect much improved performances this week.

Let's be honest, the woman's team has been a joke for 20 odd years, being the laughing stock of the competition for so long.
The men's team has been almost as bad.

Maybe it's time BasketballSA step in and say if you don't start to put forward competitive teams then you will no longer be a part of the NBL1 competition.

There is a massive recruitment area around them, yet the are like the dirty sock under my bed - never going to be a success in anybody's eyes
