Phoenix vs 36ers April 22

For me - Hannahs 18 points in 18 minutes and Sotto 16 points in 15 minutes.
if given a few more minutes by Bruton, the 36ers would have won.
In the end Gliddon too good.

Hannahs is a black hole, Sotto costs you as much as he gets through inexperience. If we had a big that could defend we win. Allowing Gliddon to shoot at will given the season he's had is embarassing.

Sixers up by 14 at 3QT and lose by 3, pathetic.

Surely some of these quarter fade-outs has to rest with CJ!

Hannah's defence has improved massively this season [which is not saying much], and he was locked in for his first stint on the floor and did well then, but he was off with the fairies when he came on in the second half and threw that ridiculous bounce pass...
Kai on the other hand battled well and tried hard all game. It looked like he was trying to fight through an issue with his right lower leg maybe. He was quite ginger on it after some early collisions and had trouble keeping his feet. He could have played maybe a couple of more minutes but was starting to look exposed.

We lost this particular game largely because our starting forwards gave us nothing on the boards. We were outrebounded by how many was it, seventeen?
Combined that with the symptoms shown all season down the stretch,
some slow/dumb wing defence
too much time spent bringing up the ball against pressure defence which never flows into any particular sets.
Not having that one player ready and willing to own that last shot of the game.
Are these problems that CJ has been unable able to fix, or is it our personal?
Likely a bit of both but we should find out next season. Teams are not going to stop pressuring us any time soon in crunch time.
I know Goorgian largely imposes a two bounce dribble limit on his players for any single possession, but most of our guards do not look like they even start to think of something until they have pounded the ball with three or four dribbles…

Adelaide misses that punch that Maher/Farley used to give when things needed saving/clutch basketball is required.

Adelaide can't be trusted to hold and survive huge leads and they can’t be trusted to make any semblance of good decisions when the pressure is on and the other side has momentum. Suddenly they make bad offence after bad offence when it counts most.
