Majok Deng went out injured mid-Q1 and was on the bench icing his ankle for the rest of the game. If he'd been playing I feel that Ipswich would've won. That said, Ben Ayre was looking good and slotted in well to a team of player who have on the whole have been playing together for years.

Watched a lot of the women's coverage on the weekend and was great to see all games streamed there are some fairly major technical issues that need to be resolved. The TVS vs IPS and dropped out during the 3rd QTR and managed to return with 2 minutes in the 4th QTR , that part of the coverage is just gone and the replay of the game is only just over 50 Minutes.
Northside V Brisbane , graphics died and commentators were not aware so no idea of scores or time remaining. Not sure on what roles the commentators have been allocated but Goodchild's never ending pass by pass dribble by dribble analysis is really annoying. Would like to see John take the lead and call the game and she can do the colour commentary. Still no stats available for the game on NBL1 site . The Tiana and Shyla duo is really interesting , two players that both need the ball in their hands to function > Tiana did the majority of the ball handling and Shyla seemed content to fill a spot and see what evolved. They are going to struggle against bigger teams with better bigs than Brisbane had.
Runaway Bay VS South West - commentators calling every player by their first name does not help anyone but their Mums to identify who is doing what . Its ok to use their Surnames.
Not a bad start , can only improve.
