Brett Brown rejoins Spurs coaching staff

Replacing Becky Hammon on the Spurs coaching staff now that his contract with the 76ers has just finished.

What is really interesting about this is the Spurs are going into full rebuilding mode now Pop is staying on for at least one more year and the talk has been Quin Snyder walked out on the Jazz because he hoped to replace Pop when he retires but now BB is back on the scene who you would think would be the Spurs preferred HC for a rebuild given his long time familiarity with the Spurs and the good job he did building a young roster in Philly.

Great to see Brett Brown back in the league. Potentially seeing him back as head coach of this great franchise is fitting for his skills, experience and character

Isn't Mathew Neilson is at spurs, if so he’d be looking at head coaches job.

Neilsen is just a junior assistant, he couldn't get a HC job anywhere in the NBA yet and certainly way behind BB in the pecking order at the Spurs.

The only positive thing you can say about the Spurs recent move is that it'll look like genius if it lands us Wembanyama

But considering that's 75% unlikely even with last position in the standings, I'm calling the Murray trade a terrible move
