The Basketball Tournament (TBT 2022)
The annual, single-elimination tournament with a $1 million winning prize starts tomorrow, and I'm surprised at the lack of fanfare in it on either side of the Tasman.
Usually there are a number of imports that have been in the NBL who participate. This year’s a bit different though - I’ve just found out Mitch Creek’s signed up to play with Floyd Mayweather’s team (one of the eight 1-seeds in the draw) and Finn Delany’s signed up to play with a Euroleague-centric team (also a one-seed).
I believe some games will be on ESPN. Anyone going to tune in?
