Forgot to mention WA as they apparently have good Metro teams.

Feeling sorry for the NT Teams.
Girls team had to get 2 fill in players from Vic to get the team to the Nationals.
Boys team have been on the end of hidings as well and it would be disenchanting for the players in both teams to want to be there.
You hope they keep enthused and continue to give it there best and opposition coaches do not just go out there to smash them by as much as possible.

Thankyou.
I did not scroll far enough to see.

NT teams would be better served entering in the Classic rather than Nationals, this must be a horrible experience for both the players and the coaches

comment re classics is a good idea - or even Southern Cross or East Coast ?
Canberra are in classics y/n ? and they are not a club - so NT in same boat.
However 1 bad year isn't the end - depends on depth of the year and what the powers that be deem ok.

yes, Canberra are in the Classic. This seems to be a particularly bad year, but it's usually pretty bad I think, just maybe not quite this bad.

NSW Metro Women are struggling.Have not won a game so will make it difficult come quarters cross over. They just lost to ACT which is not good.
NSW Metro boys also not doing as well as what they thought they may go.
City/Country clash Metro boys full court pressed the whole game even when leading by 30 plus.Did not try any change ups to practise for Nationals.
NSW Country Girls have only had big wins over WA Country and NT.Country boys teams probably doing better than expected.

NSW with only 1 win from 4 games.
NSW Metro boys won in overtime.
Placing will be interesting at end of play today with 1 day of round games to play.

NSW win 1 lose 3 again today.
Positions on table will be interesting and couple of the teams will be lucky that other teams tied with them lost today which will get them in top 4.
Country girls just lost to Tasmania so because they finish equal Tasmania will go through above Country.

NSW Country make it only because WA Country were equal as well and percentages went NSWC way.

How do they work the quarter final crossovers where the 4th placed team does not play.
Do they go straight into the semi finals which I believe is wrong.
Not sure how it works because NSW Country finished 4th in their pools and they do not play today.Weird.
The first place team in the pool with the more teams in it should get automatic qualification.

Why are there no girls games shown for today on the draw.

Wow,a dissapointing Gold Medal game to lose by 40 is not great.
Qld South were probably the second best team there but had the one bad game in Quarters and miss out completely.
NSW Metro boys did well in the end to get there but would be dissapointed.
Metro girls, not sure where they finished because no results on website.Probably somewhere 5-8.
Country teams, both finished 10th which is something NSW Basketball need to address but when BNSW do a summary on their website they say it was pleasing effort by all concerned.

Some credit to the Vic Metro boys players and coaches might be in order? They were utterly dominant all week.
Also calling QLD South the second best team in the boys seems like a pretty long stretch.
