With the U14 club championships in Perth in 2025 I hope the State Associations on the east coast are able to an give an earlier notification so clubs can start fundraising as I imagine it is going to be costly. Added to the cost of airfares will be AFL final time and if it is added to Hoopfest I imagine accommodation cost will also be increased.

all very valid points the original posters raises - only 2 teams know they are going at this stage - host and 2024 winners.

Unless it's changed, isn’t there only 1 team who knows they’ve qualified, that being the host?
The reigning champ doesn’t get an invite, isn’t it the state of the reigning champ get that extra spot?
So for 2025, Vic gets the extra spot in both boys and girls.
