Brisbane have been very reasonable without getting the W, who's in or out for both sides could be decisive, Prather out huge loss, Deng out might be not bad. No idea on cats in or outs. Cats just better team overall and should get this by nine.

It always astounds me that the NBL has players standing around 15 min after a game has been due to start while talking heads on TV talk about a game that is finished.

Surely when a game finishes late, and we have to wait because of TV, they could skip the post game and pre game that no ones really interested in anyway.

Seems very disrespectful to the players of both waiting teams and the fans sitting in the stadium

It's nice to see Naar get Rocco involved so early, it’s amazing what a decent passing guard can do for bigs.

Rosen, I'm a fan Deng Adel but his game doesn’t suit the nbl, lmao. Comes out, turn over, charge and beaten so easily on D and gets dragged. What league does he belong to then.

I'd love to complain about perth not getting any calls under the basket, but until they stop voluntarily switching guards onto bigs and vice versa it's hard to complain... like why, why just give up mismatches, it's killing Perth

Couldn't buy a basket despite plenty of decent looks, so I feel like it could have been a lot worse than 8 down at the half.

The foul count is 11-10, and the free throws cats lead by five, you must be watching wrong game anon.

Not that a well-reffed game requires an even foul count, but yeah Anon often watches a different game. No issues at all with the reffing so far. Cats have been outplayed at one end and shot poorly at the other.

Perth has a unique way of defending hot shooters, leave them wide open so they worry they might miss.... would help if they could hit a basket so they weren't in d transition all game...

Offensive foul on BC when double teamed.... like you don't need to make shit up, that's not an offensive foul, amd if it was there was likely a defensive foul there. Commentary was wrong, Batemon is not the most hated player in Perth, John Rillie on the other hand....

Hopefully after CG43 now Batemon that's JR gone. Our offence is bad, our defence worse. Scheme is horrid at both ends. We shot wide open shots awfully, but frankly our offence generates nothing easy and our defence schemes are nothing shy f worse in the league. Should we have had a few calls, absolutely, might have shaved a couple points of the margin. Hopefully Perth has a new coach after the fiba break. Anyone really.

Yes a great win bullets, and they hung on, congratulations to Batman an Cook, both have come good. No Doolittle doing the blue collar stuff and no cats. Rocco at last impressive, they should play him and Naar more together, nice minutes from Naar. Cats so different from their home court though they didn't get same advantage from fouls as they did against SEM
Two very good games today.

How can Naar come into a team as an injury replacement player and he, more than any of our other guards, can get the ball to that giant who just loves flushing them on everyone. Frankly, I rated Naar as the spark today for Rocco and for the whole team ultimately.

Was Cotton's lack of significant impact a bad game by him or very good D by Bris? I only really noticed Norto playing D on him (watching Bateman going to work, wow, that was great). and he denied Cotton till late in most possessions. I'm sure others helped with the D too. On the other hand, Bateman was almost encouraged by Perth's lack of defence and kept on piling the points, even after he had put on 20 or 30 or 40 pts.

Well, now it's the FIBA break then back into it (NBL).

A bit of both IMO. Bullets did a solid job of making him work hard, but I think a lot of it was also just the 2nd game blues. After an extended break he managed a big one on return while fresh, but I reckon the lack of match fitness caught up to him today.

Just checked the futures markets for the first time in ages and the Vic TAB has dumped the Cats big time who are now 7th at $27. Breakers and JJs are 5th and 6th at $13 and $17. United now favourite at $3 with Kings and Hawks at $3.50. Nobody on Betfair seems to want to hold any money on the JJs with odds of only $2.90 on offer. Maybe someone knows something the general market doesn't but Betfair futures can be notoriously shallow. Nevertheless whatever was available at decent odds has been snapped up by someone.

On perth radio this morning.

Scathing assessment of the wildcats and particularly a focus on Rillies lack of coaching ability and to be able to make adjustments.
