Bill Laimbeer II

I never thought I would see another one of his kind. But Mehmut Okur seems to be turning out to be the next Bill Laimbeer: A 6'11" 250lb big man who can load it up from 3-point range.

Though he probably wont keep up his current success rate of 54% he has proven that he can consistently hit the three to keep defenders honest. That means bringing out an opposition big away from the basket and freeing things up for slashers to the rim...

.. if the Jazz actually possessed any.

Laimbeer was tough and could play defense and do the dirty work. Mehmet takes outside jumpers because he's soft.
