Hahaha, I was an industry where alot of 'don't you know who I am' was thrown around, seen too much of it to let it worry me these days, haha.. I am just genuinely curious?

Agent? Coach? at the 36ers or around them? It was just an honest question?

To be fair, it's fairly obvious that Q Anon has contacts within the club and they have been on the money most times.

It's also obvious they won't disclose source.

In regards to KD, hope it's off season only and he will be back in NBL. Wouldnt think Israel is a great place to live.

When KD was interviewed at awards night he said he hoped he would have many battles with BC. Hoping he meant in NBL, not Japan!

Dorito, then you can ignore it and wait for formal announcements. The game here is you have to judge yourself who likely knows things and who is making it up. If they tell you, no one ever tells them things again, right?

I think this person has an established posting history to help you judge, but also "you new here" says as much about forums and rumours. A forum source is the equivalent of the NBA's "League sources say..." People decry that, but the alternative is waiting for a press release.

If it helps as a bonus, Anon123 in the Xavier thread probably knows what they're talking about too.

Ok, I don't know all the ins and outs of how this forums work, I wasn't aware of Q anon's or others connections, thought it had potentially been posted somewhere which was why I asked for the source? Oh well, now I know.

No worries. You can click on someone's name to see past posts.

Usually people will link or reference a source if there is one.

They pay very well, probably not the best place to play at the moment but lot of foreign players there, just like there is in Russia.

What does this mean for his future with Adelaide? I guess it's wiser to reserve total judgment on both he and the Wells situation until seeing how the season unfolds.

Usually, you can play in both leagues can’t you? They don’t run together or overlap?

Can't be announced until after Sixers season ends but generally speaking these are often end of season deals as the NBL finishes earlier than most leagues.

But there is a possibility it could be a 1+1 deal with a team option on the second year like what Antonius Cleveland signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv when he left the Sixers, they declined their team option for him and playing in Russia this season.

If KD is signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv then I would be a bit concerned as they are the big money team in Israel who also play in the Euroleague. If it's a 2 year deal they're probably the only club there that could afford him.

Maccabi Tel Aviv have poached a few imports from the NBL and then just stash them at the end of the bench Jarell Martin from Sydney in 2022 and then Cleveland from the Sixers in 2023. Former NZ Breaker Levi Randolph is currently playing for them too.

Most of the big euro leagues have just reached the halfway stage, most seasons finish around end April, mid May and then play inns and finals, most five games series on every second day. Good money in some clubs.

Surprisingly Montrezl Harrell sounds keen to come back next season.

"I've had a conversation with my agent definitely about the upcoming rest of this year and next year," Harrell said.

“It’s definitely been a great year for me in this league, it’s been a lot of fun to actually be out here and just experience it.

“I think it’s a high possibility to be back here, if my NBA chances are where we see fit.”

I know Harrell is an extremely polarising character, but could an NBA playoff team have wanted him if his season here was done already. I mean Biyombo signed with OKC and would say they're similar players, undersized 4s but strong. Harrell's had a good season here, apart from his personality, would anyone be interested. Denver could probably need a big body and he has experience that he can play there, just has he burnt his bridges? It was one of the reasons he came here to showcase himself that he has physically recovered.

What's stopping an NBA team from signing him now? The NBL season still going is neither here nor there and his season could even be finished tomorrow night. NBA hasn't even had their all-star break yet plenty of time yet for him to get a contract over there.

In the meantime sounds like he might pick up a contract somewhere after the Sixers season ends, keep showcasing himself and keep himself in shape in case an NBA offer happens.

The dust on the buyout market is still settling post the trade period, so can imagine there may be a team or two holding fire until that's all cleared up.

Maybe Lakers would be interested in him? Lakers rescinded their trade for Mark Williams, so basically now have Jaxon Hayes, Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood as their only bigs on the roster and Vanderbilt has been injury prone in the past.

I'd even add Dallas, Cleveland and San Antonio who could use a bit more bigman depth.

The Lakers just signed Alex Len and waived Wood.

Just thought with his no NBA out clause, from memory, it would have to wait until his season finished ala Davis.
And I think he has bad blood with Lakers so they'd be out. Could suit Houstons persona but think they're happy with team.
