Will Giannis be on the move?

In the wake of Dame doing his Achilles and being out next season, does this mark the end of Giannis time with Milwaukee?
They may somehow climb to a play in spot in the weak east, but it looks like they are completely done so need to move on and get the largest haul they can.
Houston have the players and picks, so far they're struggling to put away the Warriors so would make sense. Durant looked as the biggest chip in the off season but age and injuries plus a pending new huge contract wouldn't necessarily fit with Houston's timeline.
Next one would be OKC. Even if they do win the championship this year, could they bring in Giannis ala when GSW brought in Durant? They also have the players and picks, SGA and Chet would probably be the untouchables.
Lastly, could Boston part with Brown. They're looking to cut salary, but don't think they have attractive picks left unless they do a lot of other deals. Plus Bucks wouldn't want to send him to same conference.
And both of those situations would make Giannis happy going to contenders. If Lakers got him for Reeves, Rui and a first I swear I would never watch basketball again.
Incredible to think Giannis and Luka could be traded within a year, 2 top 5 players. At least Milwaukee might actually get some value out of their trade.

Going to be interesting to watch, Giannis, KD and Zion the most interesting stories of the off-season

As a Hornets fan I wouldn't mind trading out the likes of Josh Green and Jusuf Nurkic for some cheaper, role player veterans, depends how we go with the draft lottery though.

Anyone else got ideas for what their team should do this off-season?

Even without Dame, the Bucks are at worst a play in team, and likely battling for that 4-6 range in the East as long as Giannis is healthy.

It does feel like this is Lillard done as a top end guy. I think he'll come back and still be good, but he'll be lucky to get back before the all star game next season at which stage he'll be pushing 36. He'll have a huge player option on 26-27 but its hard to see him being able to play up to that contract. Would love to see him go somewhere where he can be third or 4th option or even come off the bench as a super sub.

Wonder if today's result changes anything for him?

Its hard to see how they could ever hope to be better than they were this season (not really a contender even with a fit Dame). If he wants another chance at winning he'll likely need to go elsewhere. If he just wants to be a loyal one team guy like Dirk, he'll be in for first round bounces for the rest of his career and hoping for an upset to make the second round or conf finals at a pinch

"Anyone else got ideas for what their team should do this off-season?"

The bulls need to finally accept the gut and rebuild scenario.

Get as much as you can for Coby White(should bring a first round pick I would think) who could offer a semi-contender some streaking shooting off the bench(ala jr smith/jordan clarkson type) while being young enough to grow in ability still for the next few years.

Let Lonzo go for whatever you can get(not much I would think with injury past), same as Vuc, sell him now while value should be at least a couple of second rounders. Pat Williams needs to go also but you wont get much at all and in fact may cost a sweetener to get rid of.

Offer Giddey(love him but don't see him as a top 4 player on a true contender) a 2 year balloon payment contract instead of 4 year deal and see what he does. I don't think there will be a whole lot of interest around the league in him offering anymore than that. The bulls could stay fun and entertaining with giddey on the floor while still losing a heap of games.

Keep Ayo, Huerter(at least until their contract is in final year and then try to trade for what you can get), and Matas(could be a real keeper long term for this team, sneaky good and under rated in my estimation) and let Giddey lead the way to 20 wins or less for 2-3 years and try to get some top shelf talent in.

We have not had a pick better than 7th in the last 10 years (apart from p. williams who we picked 4th in 2020) even though we have done nothing in the playoffs which only leads us to continued mediocrity year after year. If we can snap up some high-end talent in next 2-3 years it could set us up for the next 10 years.
The last 5 years have produced some outstanding talent from the top 5 picks which would all be nice in Chicago. Players like wemby, amen and ausar thompson, branden miller, paolo, chet holmgren, cade cunningham, evan mobley, scottie barnes, ant and lamelo,

Look to emulate what OKC have done and create yourself a powerhouse for years to come. yes, they probably got lucky in some of the trades where draft picks were thrown around like cheap lollies at a birthday party but still get anything and everything you can and build from there.

Outline your vision (I know you cant say you are tanking purposely but you can say we are resetting/rebuilding etc.) to the fans and they will understand and probably say "Finally!"

Giannis did hold the Bucks to ransom holding off his extension till they traded Holliday for Dame, plus blood on his hands with all the coaching changes, stuck with Glenn now, the NBA equivalent of Brian. And they gave up a bit to get Holliday in the first place.
Injuries catching up with Middleton and age with Lopez lost their talent to contend. Even getting Kuzma who's more interested in what he wears to games than actually playing these days and did his best Tony Snell cardio impersonation a few games back.
Maybe the Knicks jumped the gun early with Bridges.
And Giannis came out recently I believe and said he wants his legacy to be more than one title, so can see him asking for a trade, just will be where. And like Phoenix they won't control their destiny in the draft, so will need picks from the team that won't send their own crap picks back. So contenders with valuable picks other than their own like Houston and OKC seem the best bets. And with rules it'd be hard to swap a superstar for him as well.
And the other domino is Durant, Phoenix will get next to nothing for him now.

There was something the other day about Durant and the Spurs?
