Brisbane Bullets have signed Jacob Holt from Santa Clara

The Brisbane Bullets have made their first splash in NBL Free Agency under new coach Stu Lash after signing dominant college big man Jacob Holt to a three-year deal.
The 6'10" forward/centre from Delta, British Columbia joins the NBL as a local with the Bullets strategically discovering his eligibility due to his Australian mother.

Have wanted news desperately, and here 'tis. Jacob Holt, a local at 6'10"/210cm, a 4/5 and with college experience was impressive in the 2024-25 season, averaging 16.3 points and 6.9 rebounds for the Sacramento State Hornets. Seems like a useful signing if he is a starting 4 and can play some 5, just like Bannan. Hope he's at least as good?

This, from article basketball.com.au "His signing adds to the Bullets roster, which already includes Harrison, Smith-Milner, Mitch Norton, Casey Prather, Sam McDaniel and Taine Murray while Brisbane are also interested in bringing back guard James Batemon."

Getting Batemon back would please me lots but we haven't added that enticement that it may take (according to the blah blah from Bris).

From the Brisbane Bullets website. Could this be the earth-shattering news I have been waiting/hoping for?

"The Brisbane Bullets are excited to announce a new partnership with St Laurence's College, officially joining as a school partner in a collaboration that celebrates shared values of excellence, community, and youth development."
(full article on the website, if you care).
