FIBA Asia Cup 2025 - Potential SRP's?
Curious to hear if anyone thinks there are SRP-eligible guys out there right now who might get a look from NBL clubs—either as immediate contributors or intriguing long-term prospects. Drop your picks or ones to watch.
Hu Jinqiu
6'11" big man - Traditional low-post scorer with elite efficiency (75%+ FG). Dominates in the paint, rebounds well, and excels as a pick-and-roll finisher. Not a shooter but highly reliable inside.
Cheng Shuaipeng
6'4" combo guard – Aggressive slasher and secondary scorer. Can create his own shot, plays at a quick tempo. Capable perimeter defender with energy on both ends.
Wang Junjie
6'7" wing – Glue guy who plays within the system. Hits open shots, contributes on the glass, and defends multiple positions. Not flashy, but very steady.
Yu Kisang
6'3" shooting guard – Elite shooter with a fast release. Dropped 28 points on 8 threes vs Lebanon. Big-time scorer when hot; ideal off-ball weapon in motion offenses.
Lee Junghyun
6'2" point guard – Scoring lead guard who excels in pick-and-roll play. Uses hesitation well, finishes with both hands. A tough competitor with a reliable midrange game.
Keisei Tominaga
6'2" shooting guard – Lightning-quick release, elite 3-point shooter with NBA range. Moves like Curry off-ball. Undersized but crafty and fearless. Scored 20+ PPG in group play.
Dwight Ramos
6'4" guard/wing – Smart, versatile two-way player. Can handle, shoot, rebound, and defend multiple positions. Fundamentally sound, calm under pressure.
AJ Edu
6'10" power forward/center – Mobile rim protector with great timing. Rebounds, blocks shots, and finishes around the rim. Still improving offensively, but has high defensive value.
Youssef Khayat
6'9" small forward/power forward – Long, athletic forward with 3&D potential. Can guard multiple spots, run in transition, and hit open shots. Intriguing upside as a modern stretch wing.
Just a few from my observation....
