Australian uniforms - your thoughts

I was watching the Boomers play the other night and it struck me, God I hate the Boomers and Opals uniforms. I have, ever since this apparel deal. The "yellow" reminds me more of pea soup vomit from The Exorcist rather than "Australian Gold" as called by The Twelfth Man. What happened to our Green and Gold?

And I haven't even got started on the short split up the side shorts, they look horrible.

Thoughts?
