The NBL's "landmark" tv deal - literally just the same

The NBL is boasting about a landmark TV deal, which in effect is a continuation of the old deal, with ESPN broadcasting all games and channel ten taking two of them on their lesser channels. The big win, apparently (I dont actually know much about Disney+ hence saying that) is that it will also show on Disney+ - allegedly making their reach "bigger than ever before"

No money amount has been mentioned, so I can only imagine the outlay from ESPN and 10 has been pretty modest.

And then there's the whole point of the Ignite Cup - a spot with channel 7. We have no news as yet as to what is going on there.

So is there something I am missing or is this more of the same?

Far be it for me to complain, but I would've thought and hoped the league could've taken a bit more of a step forward with this one
