What about triple OT. Who has heard of this before. There may be no players ledt by the end. 3 from Phoenix fouled out and 3 on 5 fouls.

Finished with 28 points & 22 assists. Yet the Suns still lost to the lowly Knicks. Good game from The Matrix 38 points, 14 boards.

Look at how many threes the Suns took. 44! Compare that to New York who took 11 and had 54 FREE THROWS. Marion took 10 and Nash 14. How often does that happen. The fact that the Sun's only got to the stripe 16 times is a worrying one, too.

The most amazing stat is Larry Brown playing rookie David Lee for 51 minutes. Imagine if Darko ever got such a run! Good job by Lee to score 23 points and grab 15 rebounds.

I think that Scott Skiles record will hold for a while longer

30 assists in a game is pretty amazing

Skiles' 30 was on a pre-Shaq Magic team in 1991. Who would have been scoring on all the assists then? Dennis Scott?

On that Roster were

Skiles, Dennis Scott, Otis Smith, Jerry Reynolds, Nick Anderson, Terry Catledge, Jeff Turner, Sam Vincent, Greg Kite, MIchael Ansley, Mark Acres, Morlon Wiley, Howard Wright and Mark McNamara

It'd be interesting to see a boxscore from that contest, just to see who scored what. Probably impossible to find though.

Jerry Reynolds (!) top scored with 27, Terry Catledge had 25 & Skiles had 22 himself. 8 players in double figures. 155 points overall!

I thought it could have been a record if all 5 starters from one team had been fouled out, but it didnt happen. 22 assists is still a wonderful effort. No wonder he was MVP

Wilt could of got 30 assists if he tried.

what are TSNP points?

TSNP = The Sporting News Points. Used in an NBA fantasy competition played by a few people on here. I refer to them as a HSA Rating during the ABA season (the method of calculating it is shown at the bottom of that link).
