Kings break record for threes

In the "sometimes they're so good that it gets boring" vein, the Sydney Kings have set an NBL record for threes in a game, going 25-41 from outside for 61%.

The result? A 134-96 hammering of the Pirates in Newcastle.

Smith was 7 of 9, Webber was 5 of 6, Kendall 3 of 5.

The Kings racked up their total of 134 with only 75 field goal attempts and 27-33 from the stripe.

Compare that FGA to that of the Pigs who had 64 FGA for a grand total of 59 points.

11 less shots for 75 points less no wonder they are struggling.

So shutdown the kings from the perimeter and you win :-)

If only it was that easy.

4 very consistent quarters as well. 34, 33, 33, 34.

Looks like after the 1st quarter, Hunter jsu couldnt keep up.

Did anyone notice Sedrics Stats?

24 points (including 17 in the 1st and 5/6 triples)
6 Boards
3 Assists

All in 18 minutes. Fairly Impressive.

dont hate the kings skip,

just hate the way the nbl allows them to continually dictate how its going to happen

NBL needs to take em of the stool and bring em back to the pack and create a level playing field

like i said before $5 says the kings player will get nothing and Cullen will get Shafted

I tend to think the stool is more so with Goorj. If he left the kings and went to Brisbane say, the NBL would then revolve around them. Cant go upseting the countries coach now.
