Had the same problem not too long ago!
I'll take it as Adelaide is 'City' only, so Rebel Sports, Rowe and Jarmans, and that A-mart may have some.
If you have no luck, get them to send in a pair from another store if you can't get out to other shopping centres.

I have had this problem in general (not just basketball boots) with my middle son - he also wears size 14 and it seems that most shoe stores stop at 13 (maybe if you are lucky, on the day their stock comes in, they have one pair of 14) I think stores in general need to look at trends and the shift in the size of our kids feet - there seem to be more boys with sizes 13 - 15. C'mon all you shoe buyers - get your act together and start with the bigger sizes in stores.

The best option is to try ebay.com and you will get amazing results, quality shoes all heaps cheaper than in aus and the size you want. yes you Are taking a chance but if your organised you can get some awesome shoes that no one else in aus has.

www.eastbay.com also has great range of shoes and are delivered for cheaper than what you can buy them for here.

As a size 16 - I have always found it difficult to get shoes in Adelaide - but I have generally found the Athlete's Foot are the only people that stock larger size shoes - but they only buy 1 or 2 of each style - but it sure beats the other stores that refuse to buy shoes over a size 13.

If you really get desperate - try Angel Shoes in Rundle Mall, they specialise in large shoes.

Definately Ebay is the way to go, you could be lucky on the AUS one but i always buy from the US one. Thousands of high-prices shoes ($230-$300) at around AU 100 bucks all up if u know where to look, plenty of big sizes too.

Also dont know if this helps but I was at the Sydney Nike factory outlet a few weeks back and they were selling signature nike bball shoes cheap, they were very well stocked with big sizes (up to size 18!!!!) so if you have any friends or relatives over that way that would be something to look at too.

You were right, a huge variety and range and many styles in more colours to choose from than I have seen in any store in Adelaide. Price was good.
