Not sure about ur predictions about the 20 women. Sturt will struggle to make the grandy. North beat them in the premlin. by 10..and only beat southern by 9 points. They r a very overrated team. B. Bowley is their only threat.

Informer who do you think u are predicting finals....... U/20's Norwood to looose GF they gotta get by Woodvilele first.

In 16 Girls 1, North havent been in their best form lately. Were beaten by West on Sunday after being undefeated all season. Sturt could easily knock them out although they have a few injuries going around which could make it difficult. I definately dont think North will win the Grand Final, but could make it through. I think this Fridays match, Sturt vs North, will be a talented and close game. The loser that gets knocked out will be very unlucky seeing the top 3 teams are so close and just as skilled as each other.

To expand on your info a little here is the breakdown of teams that are representing their clubs in Grand Finals (both boys and Girls). I have them broken down into divisions so you can see how your club has faired this season.

This is not meant to be a 'show off' piece (Obviously I am pleased to see so many Sabre teams in the Grand Finals), just a great reference for all forum readers to see how your club is going.

I think all of Arnie's work at the Eagles is shown in the 13 teams in Grand finals. You can also see the strength of the two big Northern clubs (Norwood and North) who have 10 teams in a piece. I think it is also interesting that after all the baggings South have gotten in the past week that they still managed to get 8 teams in Grand Finals (although non in Division 1).

Can I just say that a Big congrats goes out to Jerry Coombe who, from what I have seen, has developed his under 14 boys to a treat. They have beaten Norward 3rd, West 2nd and now are going into the Grand Final to face the Sturt Boys. Once again great job.

I heard a rumour that Sir Arnott himself contributed greatly to their rise, or so he likes to tell me! ;)

Still, I was pretty shocked to see the result, top work on that one Jerry!

Indeed. I'm sure it was my vacant stare with my hands in my pockets and occasional cheering which got the team across the line.
